Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) assist organizations in determining the state of their internal audit function, including their level of compliance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). However, our QARs go beyond mere determination of compliance with IIA standards. We add significant value by evaluating Internal Audit functions against true world class best practices. Recent IIA standards require that organizations undergo a QAR from an outside organization at least every five years.
